The Singapore River Festival returns in 2025 for its 9th edition—A vibrant Design Edition, held in collaboration with Singapore Design Week.

This special celebration honors Singapore’s 60th birthday with design-focused experiences that blend design, creativity, story-telling, and the sustainability of the Singapore River—a timeless connector of communities.

Boat Quay: River of Dreams, an immersive projection mapping show across the riverbanks
Clarke Quay: A fun-filled pet-friendly event and an engaging community walk
Robertson Quay: Artisanal & Sustainable market, workshops, and an open-air silent movie night

This year, selected events will be powered by clean energy from GoRental, reinforcing the festival's commitment to a sustainable and inclusive future. Celebrate design, heritage, and community spirit along the Singapore River—where the past meets the future, and creativity flows.

Powering Change: Singapore River Festival (SRF) 2025 Champions a Greener Experience

At SRF 2025, we are taking bold steps toward a more sustainable future. This year, selected events will be powered by clean energy batteries by GoRental—reducing our reliance on traditional generators and lowering our carbon footprint.

In partnership with Cinewav, a sync-audio mobile app that lets you tune in to immersive experiences like River of Dreams and our outdoor movie screening using your own headset. By cutting down on amplified sound systems, we’re not only reducing noise pollution but also conserving energy.

Together, these initiatives mark our commitment to a more conscious, eco-friendly festival—where innovation meets impact.

Bridges with a Vision Interconnected

Beneath the vibrant pulse of the city, the historic bridges that arch over the shimmering Singapore River come alive with rich tales of history. Each bridge, a silent sentinel, whispers secrets of the past, serving as a tribute to the river's storied origins. These bridges are powerful symbols of connection—bridging us to our roots, intertwining us with one another, and beckoning us toward the future. At night, the soft glow of illumination dances along the river, transforming the paths into a tapestry of light and life, inviting all to explore the Singapore River that vibrates with the energy of stories waiting to be discovered.

About Us

Singapore River One is the first pilot Business Improvement District in Singapore, dedicated to bringing life and energy to the Singapore River precinct — Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, and Robertson Quay.

Since 2012, we have worked closely with the community and government agencies to shape policies, activate public spaces, and create a vibrant riverfront to dine, explore, and connect. Through events, placemaking initiatives, and partnerships, we help drive footfall and support local businesses.

We are also the organiser of the Singapore River Festival, our annual celebration that unites the three quays as one unforgettable experience.
