River of Dreams

12 – 14 Sep & 19 – 21 Sep 2025
Various timings from 7.30pm onwards
River Promenade at Boat Quay (in front of UOB Plaza)

River of Dreams is an immersive theatrical journey set along the iconic Singapore River. Follow Wei Ming, a young man searching for answers, as the ancient spirit of the river guides him to uncover the hidden truth of his father’s sacrifice during the 1978 flood.

Through stunning projection mapping, synced with lighting on the Cavenagh Bridge, that transforms the trees along the riverbank into a living, luminous canvas— and a heartfelt musical soundtrack inspired by the community’s dreams—experience Singapore’s powerful story of resilience, remembrance, and progress. This inspiring spectacle invites you to reconnect with the spirit of a nation, honour the sacrifices that shaped our shared future, and celebrate the enduring strength of community.

Enjoy the show through the CineWav app — a sync-audio solution that lets you hear the narration and soundtrack using your own headset, delivering high-quality sound while reducing noise pollution. If you don’t have your own, a limited number of headsets will be available onsite.

Limited seating is available, but you’re welcome to bring your own mats or simply relax along the riverbanks.
